We depend on hundreds of volunteers each year working in the park, in the office, and on special events and projects. Volunteering with the Festival is a fun, social, and rewarding way to support one of St. Louis’ leading arts organizations with your most precious gift: your time. We welcome you to join us, whether for one night or the entire season!
Sign up to volunteer at one or more of the 24 tour stops of A Midsummer Night Dream from August 2-27 nightly, Tuesday-Sunday. You’ll assist with set up and take down of the front-of-house tent and signs and welcome guests to each location!
Volunteer shifts begin at 5:15 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. at the latest. The performance begins at 6:30 p.m.

Audience and Hospitality Services
Volunteers are essential to creating a rich experience for the audience each season at the mainstage production in Shakespeare Glen, Forest Park, and provide support for events such as Shakespeare in the Streets, and our annual Gala to name a few. As the face of the Festival, you will engage with our guests and help make them feel at home.
Volunteers occasionally assist staff with mailings, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
The mainstage Festival in Shakespeare Glen is a significant undertaking. Group volunteers are needed to work alongside core volunteers, assisting Festival staff with audience services and helping create a cheerful, safe, and friendly ambiance. Whether your group is 5 or 25 – we can use your help. Reserved seating can be arranged once the show starts.
