Thespian Society Benefits

The very first plays ever put on in St. Louis were by an amateur association called the “Thespian Society,” which was organized in 1814. Among their early performances were Henry IV and Richard III, staged in a converted blacksmith’s shop on Spruce. In honor of this strong tradition of theater and Shakespeare in our community, the Thespian Society provides leadership support for the Festival’s annual programs.

Thespian Society – $1,500

  • Opportunity to reserve VIP parking and seating (2) for one Forest Park performance
  • Recognition in Mainstage Playbill, Forest Park Donor Wall, and Annual Report
  •  Two open rehearsal passes for Forest Park or Grandel performances
  • Access to Member Receptions and Events throughout the year

Patron – $3,000

  • Luncheon with Festival leadership and season artists

  • Custom Festival experiences.
    • Examples include: Observing production from backstage, backstage dinner, photo opportunity with the cast, private backstage tour, attending a cast party, tour of the set or costume shop with design team.
