Thespian Society Benefits

The very first plays ever put on in St. Louis were by an amateur association called the “Thespian Society,” which was organized in 1814. Among their early performances were Henry IV and Richard III, staged in a converted blacksmith’s shop on Spruce. In honor of this strong tradition of theater and Shakespeare in our community, the Thespian Society provides leadership support for the Festival’s annual programs.

Thespian Society – $1,500+

  • Thespian Society Members enjoy all the benefits listed above plus so much more!

For more information on Thespian Society Benefits, please email Development Director Austin Skinner at austin@stlshakes.org.
