In this exploratory camp, students will learn to embrace their 3 Actor Tools — Body, Voice, and Imagination —  to engage with Shakespearean scripts, stagecraft, and stage combat (en guarde!). They will use their toolboxes to prepare a Synopsized Shakespeare Showcase at the end of the week (Friday at 11 a.m.) — friends and family members are welcome!

  • $200/week
  • June 17-21 and June 24-28 (8:30 – 11:30 a.m.)

Hungry for Solid Shakespeare Study? Throughout multiple intensive sessions, students will train in the Acting and Vocal techniques used by professional Shakespeare performers. These skills will serve to create a Scenic Showcase performed at the end of the week (Friday at 11 a.m.) — friends and family members are welcome!

Performing Ensemble Session: Teen Green Show (Ages 15-19)

  • $250/week
  • June 3-28 (12:30-3:30 p.m.)

Students will rehearse and perform an abridged As You Like It, to be performed on Friday nights in Shakespeare’s Glen! This “Green Show” will precede the mainstage production in the Park and provide the St. Louis audience with a synopsized version of the show!

The play is specifically engineered to ensure every student has a substantial role/position in the production. This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring theater professionals!
