Since its inception in Forest Park, the St Louis Shakespeare Festival has provided a “Green Show” before their MainStage performance, as an audience primer before the full production!
In this 30-minute respectful parody, a small team of actors perform key scenes and highlight important lines of the MainStage show, preparing the audience of Shakespeare Glen to follow the plot and absorb the language with ease and joy!
Performed by a ensemble of St. Louis’ most dedicated High-School actors, our Teen Cast bring the humor and passion of Shakespeare’s stagecraft to life for audiences of all ages!
Performing Wednesdays-Saturdays at 7:15 pm during the run of the Festival’s Park show at the “Glade” stage in Shakespeare Glen next to the picnic tables.

To Audition you will need to:
1) Fill out the Audition Form below.
2) Sign up or an in-person audition using this form. (OR submit a self-tape by sending a youtube link to Hannah@STLShakes.org by February 19)
3) Prepare and perform one of the following sides below OR your choice of a Shakespeare monologue.
