2026 Camp Registration

The Summer Shakespeare Studio returns as a full-day, two-week camp open to ages 9-13 and 14-19 hosted at The Sun Theater located in the Grand Center. 

Pricing: $850 per student per session or $1,500 for a full month.

Registration for June and July Sessions of the 2026 Summer Shakespeare Studio will open in January 2026.


Description

Each morning, students will train with Shakespeare Festival Teaching Artists – engaging with Shakespearean scripts, stagecraft, and stage combat (en guarde!) Students will exercise their voice and movement skills, developing the same techniques used by professional performers to bring complex texts to life! 

After lunch, students will rehearse with their peers, preparing an abridged production of Shakespeare shows for ages 9-13 and for ages 14-19. These will be performed for family and friends on the main stage at Shakespeare’s Glen in Forest Park. 

Location

The Sun Theater (3625 Grandel Square, St. Louis, MO 63108). The final family performance will take place on the stage at Shakespeare’s Glen in Forest Park.

  • Drop-Off: 8:30-9 a.m.
  • Pick-Up: 4-4:30 p.m.
